Purple corn is a variety of corn with origins in the Peruvian Andes. It is considered a superfood for its functional properties, with one of the deepest tones in the plant kingdom: Anthocyanins.
Anthocyanins are a group of water-soluble pigments, with a powerful antioxidant properties.
